Financing Your Home Renovation

How does financing for home reno projects work? What does the process look like?

It is a pretty standard process in which we would require you to fill out this form. Upon filling out the form, you will receive an email and a call from our financial representative who will ask you a few questions and recommend the best options for you based on your financial health.

Will financing your home reno project affect your credit score?

No, we do not touch your credit during our assessment. We are able to get an idea of your financial health and chance of approval during our initial assessment.

How long does it take to receive home reno financing?

Status updates are within 2-3 days. If you’re approved or not, you will be notified within 2-3 days.

If I'm approved, how long does it take for funds to be released into our account?

Typically it takes 5-10 business days before all funds are deposited into your account.

Home Renovation Timelines

Typical Timelines
  1. Legal basement with permits and side entrance: 6 weeks to obtain permits and 4-6 weeks for renovation.
  2. Kitchen: 4-6 weeks (depending on the finishing).
  3. Bathroom: Depending on size but 1 washroom typically takes 4-6 days.
  4. Full Home Remodelling: Due to other variables such as permits, different trades and other project requirements, timelines may vary but we will  work accordingly to your desired timeline.

Materials

How do I know what materials will be installed?

Our contractor will provide you with samples of materials and color schemes and the option to choose what you want. However, customers with preferences outside what we offer are encouraged to bring them in

Do you have an in-house designer?

Upon request, we provide an in-house designer. In the event that a client would like to have an interior designer, we are available to set up a consultation. (Cost may vary depending on client request)

Permits for Home Renovations

Permits are subject to type of renovation. (i.e Basement permit for side entrance typically take 4-8 weeks for approval).

Estimates

  1. We provide you with an estimate that highlights the price for the full scope of your project, including materials, construction, and labour.
  2. Materials include all fixtures and finishes required for your project. We buy in bulk from our vendors with our contractor discount allowing you to save up to 30% in overall cost.
  3. Our estimate includes design services, building approvals (depending on the type of renovation), procurement, shipping, and support throughout your project.

COVID-19 Safety

Existing COVID-19 protocols will be observed.

Payments

  1. We offer standard payment terms on all of our projects. 
  2. Payment 1 – 40% upfront
  3. Payment 2 – 30% Mid- way through the job
  4. Payment 3 – 30% (upon completion of the job in which the client is satisfied)
